Here's a video recording of "And Then There Is You" from the CD 'Wet Heat'. Join me tonight at Hill Cafe in Clinton Hills Brooklyn from 8pm to 11pm. Come hear new songs I wrote plus some Miles Davis, The Beatles, Prince, Tears For Fears, The Rolling Stones, Bob Marley, Sly & The Family Stone & more. Been working on these covers and hoping guest musician will come thru. Merci Merci Merci.
Check out "The Set NYC" website and events. They're an organization that features a lot of different artists and fashion models and host some good events. Some of those events have been benefits for good causes that include support for cancer patients as well as support to victims of sex trafficking. I'll be performing at their POETRY FESTIVAL tomorrow night at The Signature Cafe & Bar so please join us as several poets and writers hit the stage. The details are below and thanks.

Today, I invite you to a performance/read I will be in that takes place this Saturday, September 1st 2012.
The play is entitled "Colored Lives" and is written by Atlanta playwright Dada Ra.
The cast is pretty big - about 8 in my estimation.
The performances will include live music (bass, violin, percussions & keyboards) and live dance.
I've been going to rehearsals and learning/practicing on my own as well. I will read the part of Anthony.
I get the opportunity to act, sing and read poetry - good stuff.
From my take the storyline touches on topics people face every day, but hints at a brighter outlook for ones future.
Here's a description of "Colored Lives" that I thought described the story well.
"Poetry, music, dance and dialog display romantic love, substance abuse, power of choice, and morals as issues addressed in this powerful display of life in motion."
We'll be performing at 2 locations this Saturday.
The first performance in Brooklyn will be at 2pm and the second performance will take place at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe at 6pm.
Below are the details. Feel free to contact me back with any questions.
